I remember Brian from a fun 2 year MPhil postgrad course at Birmingham University 1977-79, including sharing a Griffin Close flat during our final summer at University, before we headed off into the wider world of work !   We kept in touch for many years through Christmas cards, and lost contact in more recent times, but it was good to see how Brian's planning career developed, and pleasing to see him achieve President of the RTPI in 1999-2000, a reflection of a dedicated planning professional.

So sorry to hear this about Brian - our thoughts are with Brian's family and friends at this time.
